At St Thomas', all children from Opal, Emerald and Sapphire class learn French using the scheme from 'Language Angels'.

Events:

On Tuesday 26th September 2023, St Thomas' celebrated 'European Languages day'. During this day we learnt about some of the European langauges that some of our pupils in school speak, as well as learning some key facts and greetings from that country. 

Amethyst class learnt a few different greetings from different countries in Europe.

Ruby class learnt about France and some of their greetings.

Opal class learnt about Poland and were taught some Polish by 2 of our classmates.

Emerald class learnt about Italy and some Italian.

And Sapphire class learnt about Spain and some Spanish phrases.

At the end of the day we shared what we had learnt with each other in our whole school assembly.
